Airports of Tampa Bay

Ports of Tampa Bay
Port of Tampa and Port Manatee, respectively, are the largest and fourth-largest ports in Florida and combined handle more than 45-million tons of cargo annually. Both the Port of Tampa and the Port of Manatee offer ample room for development and superior access to the interstate and highway system. Recently, the Port of Tampa completed a an expansion of its container terminal which now includes 2100 feet of berth length, three rail-mounted container gantry cranes and a 100-ton mobile harbor crane, all on a 43-foot deep-water channel.
Superior Road Network
Future improvements to the Tampa Bay transportation infrastructure include a $390-million rerouting of the road network to enhance connectivity between the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway and Interstate 4 in Tampa, and rail transportation leader CSX has announced its intention to build an integrated logistics center in Polk County consisting of a build-out of three million square feet of warehouse space, 1.5 million square feet of industrial space and 500,000 square feet of office space.
